Forgetting and Straining

But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,  I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3: 13, 14.

We haven’t posted in a while. We’ve been putting aside the old in anticipation of the new.

Making room for friends

11:50 pm, Sunday, December 31. We’ve finally cleared out the second floor in anticipation of friends moving into our former apartment. Our goal was December 31. The Lord equipped us to reach the goal (and many thanks to you who helped along the way)! The house isn’t quite “Martha Stewart hosting ready” but we’d love for EACH one of you to visit and share your lives with us!

9:05 pm, Thursday, January 4. We had planned to visit friends for lunch…and then other friends for dinner – to share God’s plan for the nations and how we fit into that plan…but Winter Storm Grayson caused us to create different plans.  Instead we had a virtual dinner date (via video conference) with friends. Together we laughed over shared memories and leaned into the story of how God is calling Au and Eunice to work in His harvest.

We are headed toward the Great Lakes area later this month to share God’s plan for the nations with friends there and hope to do the same in late-February with our friends in the MidAtlantic states. Do let us know if you’d welcome a visit!

  1. I’m so sorry I haven’t stayed in touch better with you two. Larry and I would definitely like to support you in this new venture with the Lord. Could you please send me the details for giving to you ministry. We are so excited and proud of you as you step out in faith with Jesus for this next chapter of your spiritual journey. May the Lord richly bless your labors and continue to make you fruitful laborers.
Much love from both of us,
    Brenda and Larry Bauer
